Yowzers! The word 'lightening crotch' perfectly describes this horrific pain that will bring you to your knees, begging for mercy! I won't go into detail, I think the phrase describes it quite nicely. I guess it is a good sign, as it means the baby is growing in there. I can also tell the bean is doing some nice growing because the belly is doing some growing itself. I just hope it is not all of the trips to Arby's and Dairy Queen. I am reassured by the fact that the lower portion of my abdomen is hard. On another note... I ordered a fetal heart doppler today, so we can hear the heart beat anytime we want. Why do I have the feeling this is going to become an obsession?
How far along? 13 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Still down five pounds.... but I have a sneaking suspicion that will not be the case for long!
Maternity clothes? Did I mention that I am really lucky that I get to wear scrubs to work?
Sleep: Unfortunately, I am still asleep more than I am awake.
Best moment this week: I have only vomited twice in the last week... yes!!!

Belly Button in or out? In, Mike thinks it has moved further out, I think he is just trying to torment me!
What I miss: I have missed my mom this week...silly, I know!
What I am looking forward to: Getting my doppler in the mail!!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Mike and I are really enjoying our time together... it won't be just us for too much longer!
Milestones: Finally telling the world that I am pregnant!
